These Terms of Service govern your use of Prompster, Prompster.com, and related services operated by Dante Media, LLC.

By using Prompster or Prompster.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Prompster.

About Prompster

Prompster is a teleprompter app and related website designed to help speakers, creators, educators, presenters, and other users prepare, practice, record, and deliver scripts with more confidence.

Features may include script editing, teleprompter display, Voice Follow, recording, countdown, focus line, fullscreen mode, mirror mode, and related tools.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Prompster. If you use Prompster on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.

Your Content

Prompster may allow you to create, import, edit, display, record, or store scripts, recordings, notes, and other content.

You retain ownership of the content you create or import into Prompster.

You are responsible for your content and for making sure you have the rights needed to use it. Do not use Prompster to create, upload, record, or share content that violates the rights of others or violates applicable law.

You grant Dante Media, LLC a limited right to process your content only as needed to operate, provide, maintain, and improve Prompster and its features.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Prompster or Prompster.com.

You may not:

  • use Prompster for unlawful purposes
  • infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • attempt to interfere with or disrupt the app, website, servers, or related systems
  • attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or modify Prompster except as allowed by law
  • use Prompster to distribute harmful, deceptive, or malicious content
  • bypass payment, subscription, or access controls
  • use Prompster in a way that harms Dante Media, LLC, other users, or third parties

Subscriptions and Purchases

Prompster may offer paid subscriptions, in-app purchases, or premium features.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment, subscription, renewal, cancellation, and refund policies.

Subscription terms, pricing, trial periods, and renewal details are shown before purchase in the App Store or inside the app.

You are responsible for managing or canceling subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

Dante Media, LLC does not control Apple's billing systems and does not receive or store your full payment card information.

Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.

If you have questions about a purchase, subscription, or refund, please use Apple's support tools or contact us and we will do our best to help direct you.

License to Use Prompster

Subject to these Terms, Dante Media, LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Prompster for personal or business use.

This license does not give you ownership of Prompster, its software, design, branding, content, or intellectual property.

Intellectual Property

Prompster, Prompster.com, the Prompster name, logo, design, software, features, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by Dante Media, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Prompster or its materials unless we give written permission or the law allows it.

App Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue Prompster or any part of it at any time.

We may add, remove, or change features, pricing, availability, or functionality. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that every feature will always be available.

No Professional Advice

Prompster is a productivity and speaking tool. It does not provide legal, financial, medical, religious, professional speaking, or other professional advice.

You are responsible for your own presentations, scripts, recordings, talks, sermons, videos, and other content.

Disclaimers

Prompster is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dante Media, LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, reliability, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee that Prompster will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that Voice Follow or other features will work perfectly in every environment, accent, device, microphone setup, internet condition, or speaking scenario.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dante Media, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost content, business interruption, or similar losses arising from your use of Prompster or Prompster.com.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to Prompster or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to use Prompster in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dante Media, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of Prompster, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person or entity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Prompster if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, create risk or legal exposure, or use the app in a harmful or unlawful way.

You may stop using Prompster at any time. Some provisions of these Terms will continue after termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of Prompster or Prompster.com after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
